Trenbolone Base: Summary
Trenbolone base is a chemically treated form of the well-renowned compound nandrolone. So, like that drug, it is also a 19-nortestosterone, with the removal of a carbon atom at the 19th position.
But, it is further changed with the use of double bonds at the carbon 9 and 11 positions, which gives it a far more powerful impact on the body. Meanwhile, the above modifications also mean that it doesn't convert into estrogen, though it can have a strong similar progestational effect in the body.
It acts in the body in a similar manner to all other anabolic agents, through binding to androgen and related secondary receptors and causing a signalling cascade in the body which causes a boost in protein production and retention in the body, while also activating a greater amount of “satellite cells” in the muscle.
The Tren base version is a form of the compound that has no ester attached to it. Most of these types of substances have an attached delivery agent, known as an ester, which stops the active drug from being released immediately into the body, and instead, allows a gradual and prolonged release.
So, the Base version is released immediately into the body, with an active half-life of around 2 to 4 hours once it is administered.

The Worst Side Effects Of The Drug
As with all similar compounds, this drug carries a significant risk of adverse effects if used irresponsibly or for an excessive period of time.
However, the Trenbolone base steroid, like it's esterified counterpart, has become well-known as one of the more unpredictable compounds, with a wider range of potential new effects.
These issues can include the more commonly associated adverse effects:
- Cardiovascular effects – these include the usual increase in unhealthy LDL cholesterol with a reduction in healthy HDL cholesterol, alongside an increase in arterial stiffness and heart size. This naturally increases the risk of plaque build up and a subsequent cardiac event.
- Natural Testosterone suppression in the body – as with all of these types of drugs, there is a natural reduction in your body's production of its steroid hormones. This means that supplementing the drug’s use is advised to prevent the negative impact of low levels in the body.
Androgenic effects – these include the usual events of oily skin and acne, along with an accelerated rate of hair loss in individuals predisposed to baldness. In women, it also means an increased risk of virilization. This is the development of masculine traits, such as a deeper voice and squarer jaw, along with clitoral enlargement. The Trenbolone base dosage used when looking for a boost in your physique or fitness, should be slightly more conservative than conventional forms of the drug.
This is because the onset of adverse effects can be more rapid than with esterified forms of Trenbolone.
So, while injectable forms of the drug, like the above acetate, are usually taken in around 100 to 300 milligrams doses per week, if you’re using a Trenbolone base recipe, a 100 milligram dose should provide a sufficiently large effect and satisfactory results, whether that is an increase in lean tissue or a rise in fitness.
